Perhaps you helped in one way or the other with the various funeral arrangements, know that your help contributed to the huge success of the celebration of Prof. Jato’s life.

 

Perhaps you attended the illuminating funeral services, know that your presence during these services was a great source of support and comfort to us.

 

Perhaps you wrote or delivered a eulogy, said or presented your condolences, know that your words were not only a source of comfort, but a source of strength for us.

 

Perhaps you donated generously financially and in kind, know that the resources went a long way in contributing to making the funeral service such a memorable event.

 

Perhaps you shared food and drinks with us, know that they provided the nourishment and energy that enabled us to focus on the spiritual meaning of the loss of Prof. Jato.

 

Perhaps you prepared and delivered one of the touching sermons, devotions and prayers, know they enabled us to look up to God for guidance, strength and consolation.

 

Perhaps you sang songs of praise and worship, know that the words of the songs that you sang were a great source of comfort and strength to us.

 

Perhaps you were a pallbearer, know that your every lifting and carrying that ensured that the coffin was safely moved from one place to another was highly appreciated.

 

Perhaps you traveled long distances to Cameroon and to Ndu, know that we appreciated the resources and the time that you spent to come and say your final good-byes to Prof. Jato.

 

Mommy and DaddyPerhaps you encouraged and gave us comforting messages, know that your encouragement and kind words made it easier for us to emotionally handle our big loss.

 

Perhaps you brought flowers and wreaths, know that they reminded us of how you loved and cherished your relationship with Prof. Jato and with us.

 

Perhaps you were not in Cameroon at all and just thought of us, prayed for us, did something to console our hearts, know that we are deeply grateful to you.  Thank you so much for being there for us, and for supporting us during this time of our grief.
